What is RockFest?

Launched in 2017, RockFest Malaysia is a music competition that provides a platform for musicians to showcase and share their talent. Open to all ages, participants can compete as solo performers or in groups across open and graded categories. Over the years, musicians from Malaysia and neighbouring countries have been adjudicated by renowned local and international professionals.

RockFest features both Video Prelims and Live Prelims held across different regions, leading up to the thrilling Live Finals. Instruments include Drums, Vocals, Contemporary Piano, Classical Piano, Violin, Ukulele, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, and Band — continuing to grow each year with new categories and locations.
