What is RockFest?

Launched in 2017, RockFest is a music event with the objective of providing a platform for musicians to showcase and share their talent. Through a competition format, we offer musicians from all ages to compete either as a solo or band in open and graded categories. Our participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Australia, and Singapore have been adjudicated in the past by local and international professional musicians and music educators.

During the pandemic, RockFest kept up the pace by migrating to the digital platform and for post pandemic, RockFest 2023, there will be a combination of digital and physical platforms used -  preliminary round (video performance) and final round (Live performance). The instruments are Drums, Vocals, Contemporary Piano, Classical Piano, Violin, Ukulele, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar (new), Electric Guitar, and Band.
